BRANZ surveyed New Zealand houses between August 2018 and May 2019. Its bathroom findings explain why every Alchemy project gets the same basics.

The figures come from BRANZ Study Report SR456, which reports the Pilot Housing Survey. Nearly half the houses surveyed had at least one bathroom without working extraction to the outside. Every project on this page got an extractor ducted to open air and a waterproofing membrane under the tiles.
